Marcello Olivieri followed a course for training and perfecting the art of scriptwriting set up by the RAI - Radiotelevisione Italiana in 1998, and an MFI/Media workshop in collaboration with the Columbia University of New York. He has been writing passionately for the last 20 years, and has written numerous award winning film & television scripts, amongst which some are listed below:

Won Best Story for a Feature Film at Naples Film Festiva l/ Repubblica.it in 1997.


«IL MESTIERE DEL PORTATORE»

Subject and script for a Feature Film in collaboration with Vincenzo Scuccimarra.

Subject signalled by the Jury of the Solinas Prize in 1998.

Produced by Verdecchi Film.


«L’AMORE OLTRE»

subject for a Feature Film in collaboration with Fabrizio Cattani.

Selected as a financed development project by Cinecittà - Istituto Luce in 2002.


«IL VAMPIRO»

Subject and script for a short film in collaboration with Roberta Poggio. Directed by Marco Speroni. Short Film selected by various national and international Festivals, and voted Best Story in the 4th. edition of the Festival «Schermi Irregolari».


«POI SI VEDRA’!»

Subject and script for a Feature film, written in collaboration with Elena Gamba.

Subject and script for a Feature Film, written in collaboration with Riccardo Aprile and Giotto Barbieri. Selected by the Mediterranean Film Institute to take part in the MFI Script Workshop in 2003 in collaboration with the Media program and New York’s Columbia University.

Adaptation of the original work by Vanni De Simone published da Derive/Approdi.


«LA NEGAZIONE»

Subject and script for a Feature Film, written in collaboration with Antonio Ciano & Marco Saura. The subject was noted by the Premio Solinas Jury in 2005 in the section od Dramatic Stories.


«UNO»

Subject and script for a Feature Film in collaboration with Riccardo Aprile & Giotto Barbieri.

Won the Best Story Solinas prize of 2005 – In the Noir category. Currently in development for a slated autumn 2014 production date.


«COLPA»

Subject for a Feature Film in collaboration with Fulvio Bergamin & Luca Gesualdo.

Selected by the Mediterranean Film Institute to take part in the MFI Script Workshop of 2003 in collaboration with the Media program and the Columbia University of New York.

Selected by the factory of projects in the Rome Film Festival of 2008.

Adaptation of the original work by Pino Cacucci and with Daniele Basilio developed by B-Movie productions.


«LA VERITA’ CHE PASSA»
